Don’t let the name change fool you. The newly named RIO, formerly known as the extremely popular and successful DYC, are as innovative and productive as ever.
With a four piece line-up of experienced, talented and well established characters, this band is a must see. Fronting the band is lead male vocalist and all round entertainer Glenn Bradley.

After passing up a career in football, Glenn instead entered the entertainment industry at the young age of 16. After 10 exciting years on the circuit, Glenn’s talent and charisma has not wavered but grown stronger, and he now truly is at the top of his game, as is his vocal ability. Beginning as a young MC Glenn has developed into a mature singer with the ability to belt out hits from the Darkness and Bryan Adams, and so on. You name it, he can sing it!
The lead female vocalist, Deborah Bradley is one of the most highly regarded females in the business. With her strong vocal ability and numerous years experience as a semi-professional dancer, her talent is a not-so-far cry from that of superstars treading the boards in world famous venues. She herself is no stranger to performing for larger audiences with 12 years experience performing in Ireland and the Isle of Man under her belt.
Also in the line-up is female vocalist Guylene Hawthorne. Guylene’s personality and 10 years experience shines through in her alluring stage presence. After a short hiatus from the circuit, and a move back to her native France, the appeal of the entertainment sector proved too much. She has returned to Northern Ireland joining Rio, to rebuild the rapport she and Deborah had developed when they performed together before Rio.
Last, but by no means least, is lighting engineer Matt. Though his 4 years experience is lacking compared to the rest of the members, he most certainly is not lacking in energy and talent. After years of developing his lighting skills in top class settings such as Ibiza, they are more that above average.
Rio are without doubt one of the most diverse, experienced and talented bands on the entertainment circuit. They perform a range of songs for a range of ages, and their genuine approachability makes it extremely easy to request a song, which they will do their best to perform. Rio cater anything from weddings to nightclubs, playing any type of music from 60’s to the most current chart toppers such as the Scissor Sisters.
When asked about his opinion of them, their managers grins “They’re true entertainers, when you can work an audience like them, and their versatility is obvious when they appear at corporate Functions & Golf Clubs where they perform mainly 70’s & 80’s classics”.
This is by no means a small compliment being that they are managed by the highly reputable C.T.Entertainment, the man responsible for other successful bands such as The Untouchables and This Way Up.
